We can offer workplacements in the following positions:



Courier


On each campsite Eurocamp and Keycamp have their own Reception Tent or mobile, where you will greet the customers when they arrive and show them to their accommodation. You will also be responsible for helping the customers with any problems they may have and giving them information on the campsite and surrounding area. You will visit the customers during their holiday to see if they have any questions or requests.

You will clean the accommodation and deal with administration and be involved in ordering stock and inventorising the Store Tent.

If you start work in early April you will be involved with Montage – which is removing equipment from winter storage, cleaning and setting up everything on the campsite before the first customers arrive.


Courier Team Leader


For this job you will be expected to have experience of leading a team – this workplacement is designed for senior year students in their last school year at Level 4.

You will lead and work alongside a small team of 3-4 Couriers and in the early part of the season you must be available to remove goods from winter storage, clean and set up the campsite for the arrival of the first customers. You will encourage and motivate the team, carry out all administrative tasks, organise the work schedule and liaise with Head office.

As a Team Leader you will report directly to the Overseas Regional Manager and liaise directly with the campsite owner/staff.

Children's Courier


For the job of Children's Courier, you will be expected to have experience of working with groups of children – either as a previous workplacement or as a job.

You will work in a Children’s Club Tent, that is fully equipped with everything you need to organise varied activities, 6 days a week for up to 4 hours a day. You will be responsible for planning, advertising and delivering suitable activities for children of different ages and nationalities. You will have to deal with administration, booking children in and out of your sessions and be aware of safety issues at all times.

You can also earn extra money by babysitting for our customers' children

In the first part of the season (May – July) Fun Station for All is for children aged 4 – 12. On some larger campsites (from mid July to August 31st) the clubs will split into age related groups, Leo's Fun Station (4 - 6 years) and Mac's Fun Station (7 - 9 years).

You will work with one other Children's Courier during the early part of the season and on our larger campsites you could work with up to 8 others in high season.

Mini-Fun Station Children's Courier


You and your Team mate will be providing a safe, fun and stimulating play environment for pre-school children, aged 6 months to 5 years, for 6 days a week. This will also include structured sessions such as Circle Time (with songs and ryhmes) and themes such as Circus, Pirates and Animals. Parents must attend at all times, so you must also have good customer service experience, as well as experience with children of this age.

Mini Fun Station Swimming Courier


You will be working as a Mini Fun Station Courier (as above) and also giving 2 x 30 minutes swimming lessons per day. You will be fully trained by the Swimming Teachers Association in the UK and will also receive the NaRS SAT Pool Rescue Award. As well as experience with young children and good customer service, you must be a strong swimmer for this position.


You will be working as a Mini Fun Station Courier (see above) and also offering a Learn to Ride session, for one hour a day, to children aged 3 years and above. You will be fully trained in the UK by Bikeright. For this postion you must have experience with young children, good customer service and a basic knowledge of cycle maintenance.

Children's Courier Team Leader


Your role will involve the management, motivation and development of the Children’s Couriers to make sure they provide a range of fun, safe activities. You must have experience of working with groups of children and experience of managing a team.

For this role you must be available between May and early September.
